Norton Commander wheels for free in Plymouth

Hi All,about a year ago i bought some XJ900 / commander wheels for my P52, i then sent the bike to Richard Negus for rebuilding and he knew someone that could rebuild the wheels that were on the bike so the wheels i bought to do and swap over are still sat in my garage!They are in Plymouth and will need new bearings i reckon and of course reconditioning. It wasn`t was it John [I dropped my bike & broke the screen/scraped the fairing. Usual rotary gremlin, halfway through doing a `U`turn on a hill & the engine dies due to minimal flywheel effect & the ground was 6 inches further away than my legs will stretch to. Plus I had some other grief too]. Still had a good sunny ride home from the Norton mini rally in Devon & a good time was had.Derek.

I didn't even know about the Norton rally!?!? Doh!Next time Derek I'm sure they will still be in my garage for a while!Russ

It was just a small gathering of Norton mounted friends not a rally in the usual sense but an excuse to go for a decent ride travelling from Essex to Devon.I might persuade my brother to collect them. Whereabouts in Plymouth are you located?Cheers,Derek.

Hi Derek,I am in Plympton, just off the A38. I am working at the moment 9-5 mon to fri etc but evenings and weekends i will be around.The wheels are off a XJ900 and i am told they bolt straight onto the Commander???cheersRuss
