Re: Ebay Items
Also please remember if you are looking for parts give me a shout as I have loads of new oil seals etc for the air cooled engine and also the original rear chain case seals for the IP2 that are pretty unheard off new and original.

I guess the Cafe Racer would be the biggest seller here at present with the special front brake intergrated into the mudguard to help with the snow, well it would keep your tyres clean lol.I notice all of there downloads, screensavers etc have this highly desireable mod lol

Re: Racing parts?
The parts the chap was selling came from 'Ibelieve that the parts lot originally came fromDoncaster or surroundingarea in South Yorkshire'. Anyone know of the origins of these parts or someone who owned a Rotary Racer and a Manx and 7R from that region?

Re: Racing parts?
Thanks Richard I thought as much and yes this was reference the case on eBay as I was speaking to the chap selling in case he had some more parts but he does not. He told me he sold it to a chap in France who sent it back as it was incorrect to fit his IP2 so he asked me the question.Cheers Paul

Racing parts?
Hi I have a question for the racing experts among you, does anyone recognise the part number 69-0502 for a gearbox casing? The standard number is 69-0503 from the Norton parts catalogue and also the 0502 number did not show up on the NML last parts list I have. This part number casing was meant to h...

Re: Putting your Rotary to bed for Winter.
Rustynuts have you still got the old black cased voltage regulator fitted? If so dump it for the uprated version sold by NML as this cured a load of my original charging issues including the charge light coming on when high beam was switched etc.I dont think the original regulator was quite man enou...

Re: Putting your Rotary to bed for Winter.
John that has the same effect as putting the oil direct into the plug hole but I prefer to do the clean oil route as it has no combustion effects on the oil and you know the clean oil is distributed well by turning over the engine with the back wheel. The Silkolene oil I use does have excellent stick...

Putting your Rotary to bed for Winter.
Hi all, I spent this afternoon in the lovely sunshine getting my IP2 ready for winter. After giving her a good soapy wash and covering the engine parts in Motorex protective spray I checked the oil levels and tyres and then did the usual and put in 20ml of Silkolene into each plug hole and turned th...

I've been to that one as well Very Happy I remember it well as I had a bit of an accident on my VF750SC when visiting there which included sliding up onto the petrol tank in my wet waterproofs under heavy braking and ending up with the handle bars jammed in my privates trying to balance the bike bef...
