If you have removed the grub screw it should come out, give it a tap and pull the needle out from the bottom.
You have obviously drained the oil etc from the inside?

Re: Popham megameet
Sorry it was so stressful getting the numbers each year and making it different for people I stopped doing it.
If there is enough interest I can start again for next year but you really need 8 to 10 bikes guaranteed to be worth while to set up.

Keep standard especially on rear as it can rub if you get a standard profile. Avon Road riders are very good or Bridgestone BT45 my choice.

Spares
Just to let everyone know who sent messages about rotary spares for F1 and Interpol 2 I have sorted parts and will be feeding them onto eBay this week. F1 parts are on first. No offers and if they don't sell back in my shed lol Oh I put parts from Rugeley but I meant Shenstone bought from Tony Squir...

Also the bars on the Commander were special order for Norton and were not taken from another model bike, as Mr. Negus states 350LC is a close fit but changes the angle and bar reach slightly.

Re: Su float bowl needle
Trevor you are looking for the alignment as the spring is taken up just seating the needle to stop fuel flow. A good test is to connect a pipe and blow gently feeling where the needle seats nicely and stops fuel flow. On these float height isn't critical as long as pretty close most importantly is t...

Re: H&H Auction
Thanks everyone. The bike was delivered today. As expected the batteries have had it, so new ones are on order. The rear wheel is slightly stiff. I'll check the chain tension and then check the rear brake caliper / pads. There seems to be a switch in the fairing for a heated seat? Is this correct (...

Re: Posted this on wrong board - oops
I use one of the cheap oil change pumps that you use down the dipstick hole, they clean out the tank really well. Once drained as much as you can there is a bleed point on the left hand side at the tank bottom and slowly on the oil pump iv you want to be completely sure but Silkolene mixes ok in the...

Drain everything and replace new and as JB stated plenty of oil preferably Silkolene Classic 2T Also the Yamaha brakes seize every time you look at them so check and clean and of course if stood complete carb strip and ...
