Re: F1 Gearbox breather
Hi paulThe f1 had two vacume pipes either side of the engine, they air by the air filter, mine perished wher they come off the rotor housing but you could not see it. This let air in affecting the idle. I caped the hose stup off with high temp silocon blanking caps and then had to reduce the tick ov...

Re: Approved dealers in 1988
Alan Jefferies defiantly were an approved dealer, they had commanders and F1's in the show room, never saw a f1 sport though. I normally bump in to Nick at the classic tt and have a chat. I bought my F1 from nick.Graham was a authorised agent as well to my knowledge.

Re: New F1 owner saying hi
Hi VicThe top up bottle should always be full, continually adding coolant means you have a leak, also there's no drain point on a f1 for draining the coolant but the f1 sport has.I recommend you always take the rad cap off annually or the rubber seat can bond its self shut, I had a big triumph do th...

it could be possible that the rivet nut swages its self to the steel, a tube swagger on flue tubes expands the tube behind the face plate causing the sealIts just a thoughtRegards Wayne.
